Realtime Transcription of Music Signals

Description

This is the support page for my work, realtime transcription of polyphonic audio into MIDI streams. The main technology behind this object is partially presented in (cont06b) and (cont07d) and the integral work will be addressed in a later publication.

The following two pages in the trail describe detail developments. Please consider sending comments and bug reports for the future releases.

• A fast machine — preferably dual-core! (price to pay for realtime)

Version Tracker

• 19/09/2007 - Version 0.12. Added midi velocity in the output for more consistency with audio source. Thanks to Ben Hackbarth for the suggestion.
• 12/09/2007 - Version 0.1 released! It only includes pitch transcription. Instrument detection will join soon as an additional option.
