In Anticipatory Behavior in Adaptive Learning Systems (ABiALS), September 2006. AbstractWe present a first step towards anticipatory machine improvisationsystems. The proposed system, based on fundamentals of musiccognition, is a multi-agent memory-based collaborative andcompetitive reinforcement learning architecture, capable of liveinteraction with a musician or a music score.
